Second Genesis makes good use of equipment, supplies, games, and other in-kind donations in its treatment programs. The following goods are in high demand: Food Items for Our Facilities Large appliances for kitchens in the facilities Electronics, clothing and sports equipment You will be provided a donation form listing your donated items for tax purposes, as all donations are tax-deductible. We will be happy to arrange convenient pick-up or drop-off times and our pick-up is free. |

Many companies provide pro bono services for Second Genesis. Second Genesis is especially in need of painting and landscaping services. Second Genesis will arrange for free pick up of your used car, truck, van, or boat through the Capital Auto Auction's services. If interested in donating your vehicle:

We most gratefully accept several types of planned giving options, which may suit your needs better than writing a check right now. We would love to speak with you about gifts of stock, gifts of real estate, charitable remainder uni-trusts, charitable remainder annuity trusts, etc. These gifts help those in need of your assistance and these can mean tax relief for you and/or your family. We would be pleased to provide you, your attorney, your accountant or your tax advisor with additional information and assistance. You should contact your own professional tax advisor to learn how such gifts relate to your individual circumstances. Second Genesis depends on donations to provide substance abuse treatment to men, women, children, and adolescents in our community. In addition to monetary donations, Second Genesis gratefully accepts cars and trucks, as well as in-kind donations and professional services (including construction and legal services).
